Exfoliate: Shave day before tan if need be. As last shower step, exfoliate 2 nights straight before appointment all over w/ exfoliation mitt not.

The shower before tan: Night before is best or max 6ish hrs prior. NOT right before apt. Exfoliate LAST after washing body or hair. Avoid bars,dove/olay pre and post tan. You’’ll be given a rinse time after tan of 3-8 hrs.

Beauty appointments: Wax (2 days+ prior), full pedi, facials, body treatments 24+ hrs or more before tan.

Note: Book tan 2 days before event or shoot, vacay morning day before or 2 days prior. For big events, get a trial tan to be sure. Sunburns (even old ones) may be be blotchy on area. Protect skin with spf. Period hormones may alter tan duration. Spray tans are pregnancy safe but still recommend getting your doctor approval.

Clothing: Leave in loose-fitting, no tight bands, best is long sleeve tops + bottoms protect tan (pjs), baggy tshirts, bra less, not in tight close toed shoes or tennis shoes, slippers work great.

What to spray in: Undies, thong, top less, bikini, our nipple covers or full nude. This is a JUDGE free zone :) Remove all jewelry. You'll be here about 20 minutes.

On way out: If RAINING bring an umbrella. Long sleeve/bottoms help avoid getting on seats or bring a towel to cover if you have shorts. You'll be given a rinse time of between 3-12 hours post tan.

First rinse: I assign you how many hours after your tan this is 3-8 hrs. Run hands under water at 2.5 hour mark. Warm, not boiling water for body rinse. 1-2 minute rinse on body, use hands to swipe off bronzer on skin. PAT dry for as long as tan lasts. Until this rinse no gym, crying, tight clothes, skin to skin contact, dog kisses etc. For 24 hrs no pools, oils, scratching.

Correct products: Certain body wash + lotions REMOVE tans so use these.

Bodywash: Bondisands on amazon is best, Method, Cerave, NATIVE at target/cvs is ok too.

Moisturize 2x a day : oil free like Hempz original, bondisands, Sheamoisture, Cetaphil or Aveeno at CVS or target.

SPF: Must be liquid, not aerosol. Sunbum is BEST , COOLA, or pure coopertone.

Duration: Face sheds quickest (3-4 days). Tan lasts 7-12 days. Day 1-4 is peak. If you want face to stay tan, buy face tan drops on amazon, use tinted moisturizer or use drops of darker foundation. Body tan extender lotions help too. When ready to remove, take off with exfoliation mitt all over and book again with moi :) For some just two tans a month can keep you tan all month long.

Chlorine takes off tan quicker so how long you’re in pool is up to you. Moisturize + use sunbum spf all over before pool or beach. Don't let chlorine sit on your skin, post pool run body under the showers that pools provide. Then re apply sunbum spf all over for extra tan protection.

Tanning: YES you can TAN under sun with a spray tan. Still use sunbum spf NOT oils. Careful, if you're getting a sun burn you won't notice.

Extras: I don't recommend saunas or hot tubs unless its last days of spray tan. Massages i recommend not doing until last days of tans because the oils and hard skin rubs will loosen tan.
